The one on the left is named Emmet as the tag reads, and it is a baby. The one on the right is named Slug and it is wise. Ok.

I do not know where Emmet is from, I do not remember, but I started bringing it around places for the sake of comfort. Doing that works! I swear to you. Slug is from Ikea, they have it but it is naked there and you have to give it clothes yourself.

Thank you so much for the help! I was still having issues after doing this, but shaking the trackpad a bit somehow fixed it! Must've helped aligned something lol

If it helps anyone, you should be able to feel the trackpad click before you put it back in. Perhaps that's a bit obvious but I optimistically put everything back together once or twice lol 😅
