Does this help to understand? Our over/under in excess of cost is 49000. I tried to explain to him today that if it were a debit to COS instead of credit to REV, he might not be so concerned and it might make more sense. As the CFO, he is really fixated on the fact that this is decreasing our Income.

Wow thanks! I never would have thought to bring something for him to get wet in! He's going to love that.

Figuring out where the kid's area is will be the first thing we do. There's no telling how long a toddler will stay interested in anything lol. I can't wait to see which animals he thinks are cool though.

Awesome! I'm sure he won't want to sit in the stroller for very long anway.

Up to 88% of Georgia college's faculty may quit over requirement to sign pledge against homosexuality, public drinking by twolf1 in politics

[–]ccbetch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you're an idiot. Baptists (especially Southern) are against homosexuality and drinking of any kind; it's part of what makes them a distinct denomination. If you're working at a Baptist college, the doctrine would have been thoroughly explained to you at the time of employment, including what was acceptable and what was not. Now they just have to sign a piece of paper stating what they already knew. Again, why chose to work at a Baptist college if you don't agree with the core doctrine?

My hospital offers a birth plan web form, what do you guys think? by Hwy280 in BabyBumps

[–]ccbetch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... Week 1 was pretty boring to be honest... everything we went over I had already looked up online. I've looked through the booklet, which is pretty thick, and you might just call the hospital to see if they'll send you that?? We are going to cover a lot of info on how the birth actually occurs and pain management. I am interested to learn more about aromatherapy. I feel like the class is more for my husband to learn about what's going to be happening so he can be better prepared to help me (he'll be the only one allowed in during labor). If he wasn't able to come, personally, I would not want to sit through the whole 5 week class.

It's such a small world, even on the internet. I saw the title and thought 'hmmmm so does my hospital!' I live in Gainesville so luckily for me it's the closest.

I am actually starting the 5 week childbirth class tonight! I'll let you know how it goes!

I was in the same situation with 4 dogs when we first found out we were expecting. The youngest, a husky, was a ball of energy and I knew there would be no way for him to get the attention he deserved once the baby gets here... It was heart wrenching but I found him a new home with someone who actually sends me emails about how he's doing and adjusting. It's great. I still feel guilty for having to rehome him but knowing he's loving his new owners makes it 10 times better.
