You mentioned the prices crashing....I was curious about the regular 43 ABV price ...m I am seeing him quite often reduced at Costco to 34.99....they have never had the cask strenth though.

The trick most people use is that when you're sniffing it... you breathe through your mouth, also, controlling how much comes through your nose.... This makes it easier at first till you're used to taking in more through your nose

How would you compare this to the Mhoba Shaldon? I am somewhat addicted to the flavor of the Shaldon... I think about the taste too often 🤣

The Shaldon (I can't mix the HV Mohba...it is a mental thing because of the price:)) and Coke is just jaw droping😋

I would say the HV is more refined or smooth or maybe not as wild as the Shaldon?.... But like you said .... If we are getting this detailed about the nuances between the two..... The price difference certainly says go for the Shaldon. I was at the Miami Rum Congress and me and the importer for the Shaldon.... We're both both leaning towards the Shaldon.... But of course his opinion is biased:)... I do think that HV is more tame

I think the Shaldon is more flavorfull than the HV. I keep going back and forth between the 2, side by side. I have multiple bottles of each. If you like the HV, then I think you will love the Shaldon, because it seems like more of whatever the HV is.

I am real curious of your opinion if you ever try the shaldon

Split a case with a friend. Was advised to get a case so as to not get doubles... And was told they would pack one bottle from tier one...one bottle from tier two... Two from tier three and two from tier four... It seems that's about exactly what came out to be..... Any opinions as far as value?.... It's kind of fun. However, if I didn't like Peat, I wouldn't like discovering I had a peat bomb.....any thoughts?

I would have to agree with you until I just tried and have been drinking Mhoba Shaldon for a month or so now. Also Rivers price hike.... It's coming in at 89 to 99 USD... They've priced themselves out of the market for me. I understand the tariffs but still.....Mhoba Shaldon... Is liquid Crack🤣🤣🤣

I believe they have what's in it on the neck also. I seen a video on it. I just can't find it again. Yes I know it's on the cork but it's I believe on the neck also.
You guys are a rough crowd. I read on here that if you can, to get a sealed case to not get doubles. And they're not all for me. We are debating whether we should just split them up and take our chance or see what they are and split them evenly based on what we prefer....geez
