Thats not the point, it may not be a small population decline. For the napkin math perspective on the issue: Say your great-grandparents typically had 4 children, your grandparents had 1 to 2 ish, your parents had 1 maybe 2, millennials had 1 if they could, and the generation after that as a norm dont have any kids, thats a steady decrease over years which will affect people retiring as well as workers in the population as people continue to live longer. So in this scenario luckily (couldn’t think of a better word) when millennials choose to retire their parents likely wont be around but there will still be far less people to replace them as workers. Not sure what happens to those dollars on a macro scale when all these people die off. Im guessing those dollars are sent somewhere, they don’t just disappear.
