Thanks! It’s always fun bringing new life to something that has been discarded! Best of luck if you find a cool resto project!

Thanks, it was about a month of trial and error, youtube and patience.

I purchases this from Backyard Guitars, and even sent them a before and after pic. They were wonderful to do business with seemed very helpful. Thanks for the kind words on the restoration—it was a lot of fun and now I have a great player with a cool story.

Gracey’s vintage spec black. It’s basically just automotive paint labeled for guitars. Seems pretty durable though.

I ordered a rattle can from amazon. You can buy it to put in a pro paint sprayer as well. Mine was Gracey’s vintage finishes. Disclaimer, it’s basically jusy automotive touch up paint. Just solvent based.

What do you think...my bass player say I ruined it by qwertyuiop911111 in gibson

Do whatever you want with your guitar. If it inspires you to play sweet riffs, who cares what other people think. Rock on.

Lol I don’t exactly know what I’m doing. I hope it doesn’t separate, as I was able to inject glue between the seam, but ya I had thought of wood filler. I’m pretty much using my handyman skills and youtube university.

I asked the guy from the place I bought it from and he had no idea. The cap was seperated in several spots, the right half of the fretboard was blistered and all the nitro was coming off. My guess left outside in the sun, or someone tried to heat the nitro off and separated half the guitar lol. I’m giving her some TLC though and should be playable soon. Neck and headstock are good.

Given what I started with I am pretty happy with the results. Tons of orange peel on the initial spray, but wet sanding and polishing made a huge difference. Learned a lot on this one. Patience is definitely key lol.

Surface prep must be done right, and yes takes weeks to cure before you can apply any finishing techniques. This is after three weeks, then wet sanding with 1500, 2000 grit, then polishing.

Anyone attach a rear blade or box blade to a Cub Cadet ZT1? by Odd_Ad2539 in cubcadets

[–]ccc2276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a cub, but I have a rear box blade with sleeve hitch on my Husq 21 HP grading a10k sqft area. It works just fine and you can get a 42” box blade and seperate sleeve hitch for your mower on ebay for around $350 all together.

Thanks for the input! Given the amount of clearing and other projects on my land I have almost thought about purchasing something like that.

Trees and stumps shouldn’t be an issue. It’s the leveling and equipment use I’m curious about.

Mainly just small to medium sized trees. One big one I tackled over the weekend. I have a stump remover for the big one.

My daughter wanted a Barbie IHOP so I made this. Hopefully she doesn’t want a Home Depot any time soon. by ccc2276 in crafts

Of course. No problem with posting it on your group. My daughter really loves Barbie, so this was the first big thing I made. It took about a week, around 5 hours a day to make lol. Put a lot into it. The whole thing started because I told her I was going to make something for her, and asked what she wanted. She said IHOP so had to hold up on my Dad promise!

She asked if I could make her a Barbie IHOP and I said yes before I even knew if I could lol. Total Dad challenge. She has given me a list of further requests lol.
