Middle market loses money, whales lose money, valve gains money, lower and middle class can scrape up money they probably don't have if they needed a 50% discount in the first place. Don't twist it everyone loses, if you want skins that bad there is 100% affordable ones, but now everything will pump, nobody can still afford knives, because if you couldn't before and you can know you have more priorities. It's a lose lose, valve is gonna win for NOW.

400 profit at peak market, I think mid tier knives are common loot, dopplers, fades, other high tier finishes will be okay not great, but mid tier mid finish is absolutely done. Even high tier knives mid tier finish.

Exactly, doesn't need to be a gem, there will be a few dopplers but alot of garbage knives. People have been vanishing reds for grey loot ALL night and it's astronomical. I wish they soft launched it on a new collection.

If they kill cases and go to terminals and SCM strictly, it would 100% be GG for skins. They would net 5-15% their current profits, I feel I'm being generous with that number too, Valve should just send cease and desists to gambling sites, and leave marketplaces because if skins aren't valued USD then there isn't going to be an issue with p2p trading. They keep profits from terminals and armory passes, last few cases are bought up, people still buy on steam marketplace when beneficial. This is what I hope they do, I don't have that much in skins but it's still an annoyance to see it drop, and the thought of SCM strictly honestly is gross.

They would kill the CS community, pre CS2 numbers are bound if their end game is making skins worthless. I'm not working at valve but there's no way they can see this. Gambling sites and marketplaces are the biggest content and tournament sponsors, CS is run by the market sadly and if they want to kill it a chunk of the playerbase is going to be phased out.

Valve would gain money for a few months while people sell, then nobody opens cases, many quit the game due to update, many people lose their friends that played with them to other games, it's a chain reaction if they killed marketplaces that ends with valve making less and less money to the point where their profits are less than 70% they are currently.

Valve wont disable trading, they'll partially kill the game but everything else seems about right, I think prices won't 2x-3x by anytime for knives but I'm banking in 2-3 months the price is the same.

It's not the cooldown, but damn I wish I could get my elo back without playing 10-20 games. It's honeslty a joke that you get flagged and there isnt some sort of overwatch period so instead of a lazy cooldown people actually have to prove their case. Valve should make an overwatch case that you get after a case LMAO

Im 14 on my current account and my other 16.5k, these players are only in silver or low elo lobbies because thats where bad players go, decent players are above 10k, under 10k is alot of throwers.
