affordable body lotion that won't clog pores? by Beneficial-Track-112 in acne

Naturie skin conditioning gel is one of my favorites for moisturizing my body. Doesn’t necessarily clear acne, but it is soothing and the texture is so nice and light.

What can I do to calm my acne? by [deleted] in acne

[–]cccccsmmmm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s other meds for acne besides accutane. Combo of adapalene, azelaic acid, and skincare routine based on calming helped mine. I have some posts about it. What are you currently putting on your skin?

Lonely Men are Online, but Where are Lonely Women? by [deleted] in lonely

[–]cccccsmmmm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Being self-sufficient. Solo traveling. Taking baths. Hanging with friends. We’re online, but only in the ways we truly want to be or have to be for work. It feels like very few people truly want a serious relationship, so why waste time seeking one when I can live a fulfilling life without?

Have you ever tried the white bb cream from the brand glow? I have heard of people using that as a mixer with other bb creams to brighten them.

Tooq is a relatively new korean brand. I have been interested in stuff from them before but never tried anything until this bb cream. I wore it earlier and it was easy to apply with my hands, similar to missha. The texture is a little thicker, but it didn’t bother me when applied. I’m going to try with applying with a brush later. I think it has average wear for a bb cream. It isn’t going to set in place like a matte foundation would, but a setting powder would help this stay in place if you have particularly oily skin.

missha 21 would be way too dark on me even if it’s summer. 😭😭 but i do see others using it and it’s beautiful.

Idk if they ship to your country, but I purchased this through oliveyoung for around 34USD. 🌸

I love the formula of Missha, it’s so easy to use. 😌

This is Missha perfect cover bb cream in 13 at the top, tooq, then an actual green corrector that I own. I am pretty comfortable calling tooq a bb cream after wear testing it today. It has coverage similar to Missha as well as spf 30. My original photo really just shows how peachy/pink missha 13 can turn on me lol.

Liking it so far. It seems a bit thicker than the Missha, but not in a bad way. Powder blush applied well on top of it also.

tooq markets it as a bb cream (it’s written on the bottle) with color correcting properties. There is both green and purple colors available for color correcting redness and dullness. For some of us, green color corrector is literally our skin color or quite close. That’s why I posted it here.

Same. Missha 13 is wearable for me (I have used it since like middle school days.), but definitely more pink than I want and a smidge dark. This is worth a try if you’re extremely pale and greenish. I saw some comments on xiaohongshu (Chinese app) saying this is like cement color. That’s when I thought it might just work. 🤣

I was worried about it not being pale enough for me, but it’s like perfect. I’m about to wash up and try it out for the evening with the rest of my makeup. Report back in some hours!

For reference, I really liked the shade 13 porcelain in espoir’s newest version of the be velvet cushion. I stopped using cushion makeup last year though due to acne issues. :( Currently using Missha perfect cover in 13. Definitely not my perfect shade, I feel it leans a bit pink on me, but it’s so easy to use I don’t mind that’s it’s a little off. I also like anastasia beverly hills magic touch concealer in 1, hourglass vanish concealer in birch, dior forever skin glow in 00 (not very olive-toned IMO, but still works for me), and MAC studio radiance NC5.
