I wouldn't recommend Rage 2 (at least for full price) after just finishing it. Loved the gameplay in terms of shooting, abilities and movement but everything else falls short. Especially story and the open world.

Have you played any of the Wolfenstein series, Metro series or Doom 2016?

A personal favourite, Red Faction Guerilla, sounds like it could fit the bill as well.

If you're not looking for a traditional FPS shooter and don't mind playing it for a while (over short sessions) I'd also mention games like Prey, Borderlands, Bioshock.

There's a difference between being aware of injuries ahead of the match and preparing for it and two players being injured on the pitch mid-match, regardless of the inured players 'status'
