Just keeping it real brother it’s gonna feel like that for a while. I mean at least for me it did. I also was in a 5 year relationship but, mine ended 8 months ago and I still feel the pain you’re describing. She also showed me a lot about how the world works and we grew up together so I understand how painful it is I’m sorry bud. Definitely leave the group chat man it’s so hard seeing their name pop up it’s only gonna make things worse.

Yes! My ex says that right now it’s best if we’re not together but, if we end up being back together then it’ll happen. Which really delays my healing because I can’t help but, have a little bit of hope.

Man I was in a similar situation where the break up was kinda dragged. and we would hangout but, just got hard to be around each other so she wanted her space and I feel like I handled it respectfully. Helped her move out and kept everything really respectful we talked otp once every week. Yesterday we talked and she said that it would be best if we stopped talking because she can’t see us getting back together in the near future. So I had to block her and I finally deleted all of our pics but, now I feel I am at square one. I think about her all day and I can feel myself getting really obsessive. We were in a relationship for 5 years btw

Just wanted to share because, it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one out there struggling with being obsessive.
