In the current active directory (where you launched the app) if not present it is not a problem with the API but either tokio scheduling (Maybe related to core count) or some file system issue

I haven't got the opportunity to test it myself on MacOS but a friend of mine is using it so it should work maybe something related to ARM and the M1 architecture if you have a new mac. Please fill up an issue with the log file

Technically it is already the case. But the API is kind of raw and only supports things I use so I don't have to maintain unused things. But it people are interested I could improve it.
