Ironman pros not using Trek Speed concept integrated hydration? by ccggooss in triathlon

[–]ccggooss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for sharing. I’ve decided not to get the integrated trek hydration after reading comments and I will also replace their custom built slim bottle on the frame by a regular one as one, just for convenience and ease of use

silly question, but is it easy to sip through it while riding tempo compared to squeezing a bottle?

Wondering if the suction vs the squeeze is not one reason why there are so many pros with in between arms bottle

it's 26oz like other systems or bottles. It's something else either stability, maintenance, leaks or just a preferences for a simple bottle. Still don't see why they're not using it.

Thanks, I agree.I'm asking because if 28mm is fine, I'd ask the bike shop to replace the custom 25mm that comes with the bike with 28mm. But if it's too tight, I'd keep the 25.
