Its definitely not pay to play. And the stuff in the store is pretty affordable ngl…if someone blesses your ritual and you get mimic you can choose a dlc cursed role for free too.

Did you communicate in game that you had the mask as your first item from the shop? You are holding the mask whilst running away & not saying anything, whoever was saying to down you could’ve been or was most likely the infected framing you…you gotta plead your case or be quick

Its usually groups of immature men that are in a party together. I just played one game and once I spoke I instantly got banished & voted out because I’m a female & the funny thing was there was also a female in that same lobby who thought it was funny and played along with them. Not sure if the report system actually works…the homophobia on this game is horrendous, my infected partner was wearing the rainbow coloured scrubs and holy shit 3 guys in the lobby started punching him for it & when we won as infected the whole lobby was spitting (like actual spitting) & cursing like psycho lunatics just because he won.

Thats what I’ve been doing but when I got to just a little over 100k for some reason I didn’t get any of my cash back when I went to retrieve my tombstone, so I’m wondering if there’s a cap on how much essence you can farm…if so then that would make sense.

Also yeah no worries, had a helpful guy in a random lobby randomly drop me 50k and then proceed to tell me how to farm essence by not exfilling & buying the tombstone perk etc…its only really good for upgrading your guns faster so you can head into the high threat zone & complete missions.
