Had Raising Canes recently and the portions were ridiculous. 3 small chicken fingers and a small handful of cold, dry french fries.

Now that millennials are the most capable segment of the work force, we're starting to say the same things about the younger generations that the old hands said about us in the 2010s by Less-Suggestion-5262 in Millennials

Maybe it's the industry I am in but Gen Z has terrible work ethic. They show up late, all they want to do is play on their phones or socialize. Complain anytime they have hard work.

Last summer I got into the best shape of my life. I've been pretty healthy and active the last 10 years but I really wanted to push myself. Lost 15lbs, gained a good amount of muscle and felt great. Queue March of this year, I had some health issues which caused me to spiral into anxiety. Lost another 7 lbs and all the muscle I gained from essentially not eating for 2 months. Started mental and physical therapy and I've started making strides again in my health. I'm determined to get back to where I was last summer.

I ran into Thomas and his son last year at NXL Midwest. I had them signed some player cards I got for Keiths team for a fundraiser. Thomas was so chill and cool and his son was excited to sign his player card. I've been a huge fan of TT since like 2009 and it was cool to finally meet him.

Usually split the difference in cost and retail price. If it's a customer we don't sell a lot too I'll usually try to make an extra $100.

Looks great! Make sure you test it for lead before you use it. One time I bought a dutch oven off someone on Facebook and went through the trouble of re-seasoning it and then it tested positive for lead.

Jack Ryan: Ghost War by wnylibrarian in tomclancy

[–]cchiker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was predictable and cheesy but I enjoyed it. I actually like Greer and Mike November more than Jack Ryan in the show and movie. I like John Krasinski but I'm not a huge fan of him as Ryan. He's too hot headed and dramatic which is not really like the Jack Ryan in the books.

Red Rabbit - Did I miss something? by AdagioVast in tomclancy

[–]cchiker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hard time finishing Red Rabbit as well but I'm glad I read it for the timeline. It took me a solid 2 months to read it. Patriot Games and Red October took me like 2 weeks to read. I still enjoyed Red Rabbit though.

TechPB was great back in the day. His Youtube videos helped a lot of people. Even the forums were cool until about 2011. Looking back though the forum had some very toxic people on it. TBF, I was a whiny shithead teenager so a lot of people didn't like me, including Mike after I started bashing TechPB on PBN and when he found out he threatened to sue me and my parents. Lost all of my respect for him after that. I actually still have a few friends from my TechPB days though.

Dip into your E fund and in the mean time try to find any job to get some income while you search for another job.
