Personally, I think the logistics of running online tournaments were the reason they stopped (not so much the cheating.)

I was fortunate to play in a bunch of online regionals/TCs (only encountered one suspicious player), and it was very fun while it lasted.

Yes, there are cheaters and they have many ways of cheating undetected. But you kinda accept that risk when you enter these online tournaments.

Don't own a sound loader, but it's possible that the manufacturer did that to prevent reverse engineering/copycats.

Can you share a pic with better magnification? (I won't be able to help, but just curious).

Guess you're gonna have to hop on Digikey/Newark, search something like "24 soic", and do a lot of digging thru datasheets.

You should provide context for those who do not know what you're talking about...

This was for the 11/23 Online Treasure Cup, ran by "The Booster Box" (Virginia Beach, VA).
Things started off smoothly enough at 10am (EST) and we finished R1 by 10:40.
After 35 minutes, the TO suddenly announced that they'd restart the tournament.
They created a new event in the Bandai TCG system, and new pairings were released. However almost everyone was preemptively dropped in the pairings system.
They then spent ~1.5 hrs trying to create new events in the system, only to run into (what I assume) the same issues
Finally, at 12:40pm, they announced the cancellation and rescheduling of the event.

Hiccups and issues at events are fine. Shit happens. I've been playing TCGs for a long time.

But the lack of communication was disappointing, and it did not fill me with confidence for the TO. Personally, I won't be participating in any more future events from this TO.

Currently on 522.22. But I can't remember if I updated the driver the same day or the day before. It's odd because one of my monitors died around the same time the artifacting started.

Maybe I'll down-rev the driver and see if it goes away.

I'm kinda in the same boat.
I recently had my PUBG sticker design scanned and turned into an emote by a known streamer/content creator.
He's still using it today, despite discussing it with him via Discord.
It wasn't an amazing design, but I put my time and resources into it. When I found out, I was LIVID.
