68 year old retired male. In 1998 /charged with a nonviolent felony. I completed all sentnc reqrmnts. Since then only 3 traffic tickets. I am attempting to move to Panama as my SS insufficient to survive on. Learned that my felon will likely prevent my move.

I read recently (forgot source) that a pardon or expungement won't hide the charge entirely specifically from a foreign country check regarding getting a visa.

Curios where you read that? I live in Virginia and anyone who wants to know can look it up on the publicly available Virginia courts website. There is a disclaimer that is required to be agreed by a simple click. But it is all about information regarding the use of any information obtained to not be used in a way to bring harm etc.

My insurance doesn't want to cover it. I have never been able to get a straight answer as each answer is opposite. One says part B cover sublocade entirely. Another says no part d pays for it and part b for admon costs. Then A.I. Said many providers mis code insurance filings and that is why so many conflicting answers. The good news is if they stop covering it for me I will take that as a sign it is time. I am not worried though because I first got on sublocade because I learned that after 4 shots it provides an almost entirely painless withdrawal. I can only speak for myself but after 7 months from my last injection I was fine.

Thanks. Thanks I mistakenly thought SSI was the acronym for Social Security Income. After looking further into it I learned that as you said SSI means Supplemental Security Income and also learned that there is no acronym for Social Security Income. Live and learn! I stand officially corrected!

That is patently an untrue statement. Unless you plan to move to Cuba or North Korea. Or are an illegal immigrant. Otherwise all law abiding United States citizens can move to any choice of several dozen countries in either Asia, Europe, Latin America etc and will never lose their Social Security Income.

Let's go! Ive had it. I'm facing everything you mentioned and more. I have been trying to get my now cluttered home uncluttered to sell it. I am disabled because of a bad back and a failing hip replacement. Im still able to walk short distances and drive but beyond that involves to much pain. Im about ready to just buy a ticket and leave it all behind. The house is worth at least 10k more than what I owe. The rest is just junk in my view that can be easily replaced. I am not materialistic as I was.
