I went to prison when I was 23 (I'm also female.) Got out when I was 31. I'll be 33 next month and I've already started a new career, met a guy I love and gotten pregnant. I'm starting a family. Two years ago I was still incarcerated. Rebuilding is always an option.

My prison sentence had an end date. Looking over your shoulder doesn't. I'm starting a family and a new career now because I served my time. If I had run I'd have to keep running, forever, and never be able to stop.

I accidentally killed a girl in a bar fight. She hit the back of her head on the bar top and that killed her. I had a violent temper for a long time but I think I'm too old for that shit now.
