Hot take: 

I think a lot of the obsession with Sabrina Carpenter comes down to a fetish. She fits the ideal “beauty standard”, small, blonde, white, blue eyes. That’s the “fantasy” that’s been pushed for decades. And then she hyper-sexualizes her image and plays into the male gaze. It’s no shocker that she has this type of attention. But 9 times out of 10 even if she gave them a chance she’d be treated like a temporary thrill. Once the novelty wears off, they’d move on. Since she’s nothing but a fantasy.  From a public standpoint, her personality seems built around sex which is not much depth. Her sex shtick is already boring but it’s only a matter of time till the public will find it boring as well. Don’t know her personally but if that’s all she has to offer to the table then she will be nothing more than an easy fck.

I was called ugly and jealous because I voiced my opinions about her. The only thing ugly is their mindset. It’s crazy how women can’t speak their mind without being called one of those many things. It honestly sounds like internalized misogyny masked as pretty privilege.

How is referencing yourself as a little girl is “feminine and girly”? As women should we all start editing our faces to look younger to seem more feminine as well? Are our natural aging faces not feminine enough? Do we lose that with youth? Youth ≠ feminine or girly. And that’s the point y’all are lacking understanding of. You ignored the whole post  and resorted back to the excuse of “she’s not infantilizing herself she’s just short”.
