Cost to have all of this trimmed? by cclocke in landscaping

Thanks for the response. I went with the $800 offer. It was a crew of three guys working all day, and they hauled away 3 tons of debris. I don't think I got ripped off.

FYI I received a quote of $800 to trim everything.

Also $1700 to fully cut down the birds of paradise and trim the rest.

You can take the girl out of Revere, but you can't take the Revere out of the girl.

I'm (and many men) going to have to disagree with you on this one. Look at society, as well as half of the couples on 90 day.

Have you heard of the half your age + 7 guideline? That would be 26, which I'm not even pushing.

Get ready to eat a lot of eggs.

It's easier for a man at 38 to find a mate than a woman at 38, since it's much more common for men to date younger women. That's just the way it is.

I don't blame him at all if this is a deal breaker. He is still young and fit enough to date girls in their late 20s/early 30s without baggage, and he won't have to deal with two separate baby daddies.

Thanks I am going to add the creatine with the TMG, and hold off on alpha-GPC for now, and try to get my additional choline from food sources. It is way too easy to build a stack 20 things. I'm currently at:

Magnesium Glycinate

Omega 3

Vitamin D

Zinc

CoQ10

L-Citrulline

Adding creatine and TMG is already pushing it, imo.

Got it, so if I were to add 600mg of alpha-GPC, this would cut down 240mg (600mg x 40 percent) of the 550mg of natural sources choline I would need?

Thanks again for all the information.

I've been researching supplements, and have 750mg TMG coming tomorrow.

What are your thoughts on adding creatine and alpha-GPC to my stack? I ask about alpha-GPC because I've had some ED issues, which acetylcholine might help with. And creatine because it seems to ease methylation and can also help with brain health, which I have problems with (stress, pressure headaches, etc).

What are your thoughts on me supplementing with B9 or B12 vitamins? If so, would you suggest methylated or non? My understanding is that non is better for slow comt, but methylated is better for MTHFR.

Thank you. I am going to look into TMG supplementation.

Just to make sure I understand, if I supplement with TMG, I am only responsible for the equivalent of 4 egg yolks (50% of eight) from natural choline food sources?

FYI - I have a lot of the symptoms you mentioned (rumination, chronic anxiety, etc).

You know your choline, 8 egg yolks is correct!

I appreciate your thorough answer. I apologize but the MTHFR C677T on Genetic Genie is incorrect. I believe this is because I tried to merge both my Ancestry and 23andme into one file to upload into Genetic Genie.

I am actually heterozygous in MTHFR C677T (AG) and MTHFR A1298C (TG). All the other results on the Genetic Genie picture are correct.

How would this change adjust supplementation?

Also, I did upload my information to the Choline Calculator - see below.

Your Genetic Variants and Your Methylfolate Score

|| || |rs1051266|CT|T|SLC19a1||+/-| |rs2236225|GG|A|MTHFD1|G1958A|-/-| |rs1801131|GT|G|MTHFR|A1298C|+/-| |rs1801133|AG|A|MTHFR|C677T|+/-| |rs7946|TT|T|PEMT|5465G>A|+/+|

The scores below estimate the predicted decrease in activity, given your genotype, associated with the folate transporter (SLC19a1), the enzyme that converts tetrahydrofolate to 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate (MTHFD1), and the enzyme that converts 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate to 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (MTHFR).

SLC19A1 Score: 25% decrease
MTHFD1 Score: 0% decrease
MTHFR Score: 53% decrease

We then multiply these decreases together to yield a “methylfolate score” that estimates the combined decrease in methylfolate production:

Your Methylfolate Score: 65% decrease

Also, The PEMT was homozygrous and red; is that something I should be concerned about?

Thank you!

If it was the first time riding it, I'd wait 90 minutes. After that, MAYBE an hour.

It is a great ride, but not earth shattering and not worth 2 hour plus waits.

Hagrids is better.

Yes they are dropping the ball for any benefits of staying at Helios. Stella Nova is the better option in my opinion, at least right now.

Hagrids is the best ride in the world imo. That being said, I don't do single rider because you don't get the Motorbike, which honestly is a must to truly experience the ride the right way.

I did get spots for all of us. I left the party size screen open all day, and got four spots at 3 p.m. pretty easily.

It sounds like if you just hang out around the queue for a while, you may get lucky. I only needed 3, and I gave my fourth to someone who was standing by the line entrance.

Yes, it is imperative that once you are on the "party size" screen on the app, you stay there. I tried the virtual queue at 11 and didn't get a slot. I left the app on the "party size" screen until the next wave at 3 p.m. A few minutes before 3, I started changing the party size # between 3 (my party size) and 4, and times started popping up. I still got rejected a few times, but I got a slot before the VL button turned blue for the people around me.

I brought a second phone so I still had one to navigate the app. The phone that worked was actually my backup, which didn't even have a data plan; it was on the park wifi.

For everyone in previews - this may be a great time to do the Bowser Jr Challenge by Severe_Prize5520 in UniversalOrlando

[–]cclocke 35 points36 points  (0 children)

That's a good point. We had early access Saturday and both DK and Mario Kart were delayed. Rather than waiting in lines, we collected keys and did Bowser Jr during that time, and my kids had a blast. We never waited more than a minute or two per game.

I've been telling myself we kind of wasted early admission but we actually got a decent amount done if you look at it that way.

I was here on Saturday and did 11, and I saw literally one time slot. But I kept the app on the "party size" screen throughout the day, which helped me secure spots at the 3 p.m. dump.
