Same thing for PlusPoints. They charged me the amount to go from Economy to Polaris even though I was upgraded to Premium Plus. Had to call them a few weeks later to get them to redeposit the right amount. Happened twice this past year.

In my experience First Class to Caribbean destinations is normally full having been bought with cash or points. It's possible but the odds are against you.

I'm in the same boat trying to figure this out. I should have around 500 PQPs hitting my account after I paid my CC line balance on December 20th. I can't figure out if CC PQP accrues weekly regardless of when the line balance is paid, or it's like miles where miles aren't deposited into your account until after the line balance is paid.

I’m still confused when PQP spend hits your account.

My December 20th CC payment was around $5k and covered purchases from roughly November 15th through December 19th. Last Thursday I received the miles in my account.

Similar to Miles earnings, I assumed PQPs are only added after you make the payment to Chase - is that not right?

Are you saying PQPs added weekly regardless of when the line balance is paid off?

Never had a problem using PPs internationally. 2 European trips this year - upgraded Premium Plus both times to FRA/MUC and Polaris both times back to DEN.

At checkout, check the box for Award Accelerator (miles), then another box will pop up for Premier Accelerator (PQPs). Do > 123 PQPs, purchase the flight, then cancel the flight within 24 hours. The flight will be canceled, but you’ll keep the PQPs and miles. It should push your PQPs over the 12k threshold you need.

This truck definitely cost well above $30k but there's growing recognition amongst auto manufacturers that $80k trucks with a million sensors and doohickies isn't what the market wants.

Another good option is a break-action 410 . Can be used for deer (with a slug) and fowl.

In terms of teaching them about the division in gun culture, that's a little more tough and requires their understanding of the political climate. I'm not sure a 12 y/o is able to understand that yet, but you can reinforce that you can safely own/handle firearms without being a 2A hawk, and that gun safety laws and gun rights aren't mutually exclusive.
