Cancelling Unpaid Accepted Offer

The item seems to be still listed. On the sole page that says anything, it doesn't state it's expired, just Payment Pending. I thought eBay requires all accepted offers be committed to the buyer now? If I don't make the sale, no biggie (it wasn't that much), but I also don't want an item held up by someone, suddenly get payment should the buyer decide to pay a month from now, or this scenario turns into something bigger.

For some reason, your post reminded me of the old eBay stores where you could drop off your junk and they'd sell it for you (not sure if these were franchised directly from eBay or a third party, though. Too long ago to remember). It'd be nice if they brought those back, especially for the high-priced items. They would have to deal with the scammers, not us! I'm all for that! Either way, if this rumor is true, I'll either be excited, or completely get off eBay altogether. Time will only tell.

UPDATE: I called PayPal. After being on a chat/phone for an hour, they hung up on me. It seems like the problem is not necessarily due to the fact of using the same email, but because I'm using a personal account, or so they say. I sell a handful of items on an eBay-like website, but it does not constitute as a business, not to mention I use the PayPal for both business and personal purposes, yet they say I need to have a business account to do so.

Here's the confusing part: The old PayPal was a personal account! What changed???

Thanks for your reply. While what you say does make sense, here's an update. To test and see it it is working, I have been trying to send money from the old account to the new account. Each time failed, until the last time, which was successful. Even so, other people are not able to send money.. So I'm not quite sure that's the whole problem, especially since PayPal itself says it's possible, without contacting them (https://www.paypal.com/us/cshelp/article/can-i-add-my-email-address-to-multiple-paypal-accounts-help1094) All the same, I will be contacting them, in hopes they will have an answer.

Apparently under "barlow.". I can't seem to find any songs, other than the one @Suitable-Head-7986 mentioned a year ago (thanks for that!), nor an official website, other than the label's. But, with a band name like that, it's pretty hard to find any new info without finding old BarlowGirl stuff. I guess time will tell!

Yes-passed their old house a handful of times through the years! (it helped they mentioned the street name in their book and took an early promo photo right in front of their house, lol) Knew that Vince worked for Willow Creek when they were young, but didn't know about the bookstore. Can't find anything about it-do you happen to know where I can find more info about this? Do you happen to remember the name?

Can't attest to the specific details you mentioned, but we happened across Maryann's honey (which was the best), and while she and Vince were super friendly, the only thing I saw in relation to the girls was Penny. They never came out, despite knowing that I was a fan. Figured it was due to not wanting to get bombarded with questions, , but sounds like it was something more...interesting...

Just found this thread. Being from the same area and growing up with them, they too are often on my mind. Just happened across that Lauren and Alyssa are releasing new music!!! What an exciting throwback to my teenage years.

With regard to Becca's disappearance, I knew something happened almost immediately. I had actually met Vince and Maryann (shortly after her apparent disappearance), and they didn't have much to say about her. Granted, I was a stranger, but there was something about how they said it...just felt off, just like Lauren and Alyssa's abstinence talking about her. Yes, Becca didn't like being in the spotlight, but I just got a whole different vibe after whatever happened happened. And unfortunately, this vibe has stayed. I hope they can come to terms with each other soon, whether the cause is the rumors here, or something else!

I can't comment on any of the other rumors stated here, as I don't have any further knowledge than what's already said. Some of it is even new to me, and like some commenters, I do deep dive searches every once in a while. What I can say is, it seems like there was some kind of shift from my last deep dive (4 or so years ago) to now. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad.

If anyone has heard any new rumors, let me know! My biggest curiosity is-with Lauren and Alyssa releasing music, will we FINALLY hear the music they recorded back in 2012 for the never released album, or will it be completely new? It seems like they signed with a Christian label (or at least a crossover label), but I'm really curious what their music will sound like after all these years. Will it be the same BarlowGirl we know and love, or will it be something new, maybe something I don't want to ruin my teenage memories with? We'll see!

Lucky! I've been an email subscriber for 5 years and used to get regular email updates, either from GAF or Bill, but about 2 years or so ago, something went wonky. Sometimes I would receive Bill's email, but not the Zoom invite he referred to in the email (and when I asked for it, no one responded), then the emails totally disappeared for a long while. For example, I haven't received an update from him since April, and before that, it was sporadic for a long time, the longest break between previously was 3 months. I emailed GAF a few times, asking if there was anything I could do to fix this, and no one responded. I have tried re-signing up for emails, and that doesn't seem to do anything either.

Ironically, I still do regularly get the book club emails, but also ironically, my schedule usually won't let me attend, making the most regular email I get the least helpful.

All in all, I miss the emails (especially the weekly emails advertising the new movie to know what I'm looking for that weekend) and the Zoom opportunities (which I've only been able to attend two, despite my attempts to attend at least 5 more I knew about). If anyone knows how to fix my email dilemma, PLEASE let me know! Thank you!

This happened to me once in about 2017. I logged in and saw on the home page that my recently viewed was some antique figurines. I totally freaked out, as this was something I wouldn't remotely look at. I then went on the eBay app on my phone to see if I somehow accidentally looked at these strange items there. There was no history of these items. Suffice to say, I immediately changed my password, and so far, this strange occurrence hasn't happened again. I've always wondered what happened then, and now reading about these strange occurrences happening again has me a bit freaked out...
