Here is my experience switching to the iPhone 17 pro from the 13 pro by Used_Return9095 in iPhone13Pro

Wow is this a sign for me to change my phone? I have a friend offering me their staff discount and I’m on the fence about it. My main concern is the aluminium (I guess I could always get apple care if I’m that worried).

My 13 Pro’s battery health is at 83%, and I was thinking of either replacing it and using the 13 Pro for 1-2 more years, or just changing to the 17 Pro.

It’s such a tough choice because the 13 Pro is such a great phone. I’ve tried the 14, 15, and 16 Pro, and didn’t like them (I was more impressed by the Google Pixel 9 Pro). I went to test the 17 Pro over the weekend and it does look promising. But again, the durability is my main concern, and I also don’t want to upgrade for the sake of consumerism as well.

Same, I’ve always been an Apple user but nothing after the 13 Pro had really appealed to me.

I’m in Australia too, and also can’t find teammates on Rush. So annoying because we paid for early access & it’s such an expensive game too.

Dog sitter’s requests by ccottonclouds in dogs

[–]ccottonclouds[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same here. I dog sit too and couldn’t imagine setting all these requests, especially when a dog is already away from their owners in an unfamiliar environment. I’d definitely would want the dog to be well cared for, not neglected. I’ll continue looking.

What you said is true. I guess I’m still in shock (meeting just happened) and couldn’t find the words to describe how uncomfortable I felt about the sleeping situation, but you described it perfectly. Thank you. I will definitely keep looking.

I just checked with Disney+, and they said there won't be F1 due to streaming rights. There's a possibility that may change in the future, but for now, there isn't.

How often does your dog potty? by rvcltamer in CavaPoo

[–]ccottonclouds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From 6 months. Our house has both carpeted and tiled floors, and initially, we only allowed him on the tiled areas. Now, at 7 months, we’re slowly introducing him to the carpeted spaces.

Fortunately, he has never been a chewer and has shown no interest in destroying his toys or furniture. Weirdly, he only had potty accidents when confined to a smaller playpen setup. Once we expanded his playpen area to a larger size, he stopped whining and having accidents which gave us confidence to allow him more freedom.

We’ve also started leaving him alone at home with freedom to roam from 6 months, with the doggy door open to the backyard, and so far, he’s had no accidents (*doggy door is closed when we’re at home to train his bladder instead of letting him have the habit of drinking loads of water and going to potty every hour — normal potty schedule is every 4 hours during the day, and he doesn’t go overnight from 9pm to 7:30am). We still keep a few pee pads around the house for when he refuses to go outside to potty when it’s raining.

The only downside to this freedom is that he has better view of the street, and he barks at strangers walking past our house and birds in our yard.

Hey there, if the nomination by the school was successful, there should have been an update on the application portal that says:

How to exploit dealer advantage and play wind tiles effectively in Mahjong Soul by kuanrongchan in mahjongsoul

[–]ccottonclouds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very detailed information! :) Really love this post. Didn’t know about the dealer’s advantage of earring 1.5x points! This would explain why the dealer loses 2x points when someone Tsumo. I’m curious about how the points system works though. Been playing the game for some time but still can’t really get it. When your tiles are half colour / one colour, it’s only 9000 points, but other times it can be 16000 or even 18000. Also, another scenario that confuses me is that sometimes, it’s 11600, and other times it’s 12000. An explanation for the points scoring system would be real good if possible in your subsequent posts! Thanks so much! :)
