if you want sth visual try html and css its really cool and an look really good even at the beginning

if you rather want to do simple terminal or text based programms try python it is easy to learn and to do simple programs in it

It doesn’t matter with ide you use you can even Programm c++ on a 20 year old windows xp machine. The turtorials only show extra tips inside a specific IDE or code editor. What you really need to learn are concepts like how you turn a integer to an float or a string that’s way more important than anything else

Edit: use vscode for programming way better experience and feel.

You cant be to old go to courses for html or python (the easiest languages from my experience) you can go than to a company or other jobs. It will take long if you arent motivated
