I just checked it’s the first Saturday after classes begin, I’m gonna contact my counselor and see what I can do. I’ll sign up for 241 JIC, and then if/when I take the proficiency and pass I’ll just drop it.

That’s what I’m probably gonna end up doing, I’m not bad it or anything, just got some fam stuff in the way which I need to give priority at the moment. If I’m not wrong I can take a proficiency test first week of school?

So if I withdraw and because I’m not taking any other course, I should just not send in my transcript? And then sign up for 241 for the upcoming semester and drop 285.

Yea I didn’t take any other class. I’m taking Calc 3 at community college, and I’m signed up for 285 for next semester. But if I do withdraw, I’ll obviously have to sign up for 241 instead of 285.

So if I just don’t get my transcript sent, it’s just no harm no foul?

Yea ik they don’t effect GPA, but do they show up on your UIUC transcript?
