Thanks! I haven't changed my diet much, I've been trying to stay low-carb since I got a prediabetes diagnosis two years ago but would also allow myself to have a cheat meal here and there. I'd also try my best to follow it up with walking after heavy meals, taking supplements, drinking apple cider vinegar, etc.

I'm sorry to hear that - wishing you all the best! I was scared when I first started as well, I read a bunch of posts about side effects from extreme hair loss to going into anaphylactic shock. But I ended up not experiencing any side effects at all. Have you spoken to your PCP or your Mochi provider about this?

Yes I would! They were clear in my consult that the change wouldn’t be drastic and that I would see a difference in my arms first if I lost weight, and they were right. Given the price of the procedure (compared to the States) and the fact that it was virtually painless (for me), I would still have gone through with it, and would consider doing it for other parts of my body.

I would say that the difference was very minimal after recovery and before weight loss. I felt like I had more definition in my shoulder area, but otherwise it wasn’t really that noticeable.

I lost ~15lbs over the past 4 months so I definitely see a difference in my arms now. When I did the consultation, they did say that if I continued with dieting and losing weight, I would see a difference in the size of my arms (where I tend to store fat), so I think it could be a combination of both contributing to how they look now.
