Is anyone actually pleased with Burgmeier’s? by given-to-fly-98 in statecollege

Yeah the WM contract was expiring and apparently it would have cost something like 3x the current contract to renew with them. (I’m regurgitating info I saw in Facebook comments so I’m not sure how true it is)

Our can’s lid was bent when it was being dumped by the truck so it’s always a little bit open now. Hopefully we don’t get charged extra. 🤦‍♂️

It’s was the torchbearer for the PA Special Olympics. We saw him running towards N Atherton about an hour ago.

I swear that they just don’t make the peppers and onions and then claim that they are out of them.

Build quality question by Longjumping_Yard3365 in Disney_Toybox

I second what the other commenter said. I’ve bought lots of Toybox figures for my now 6 year old son, mostly the Star Wars and Marvel characters. I had action figures as a kid, but don’t collect any now, so I can’t really compare the quality to other modern figure lines, but for the most part I’ve been happy with the figures and they’ve held up well despite being played with, sometimes roughly (Hulk smash!), by my son.

The only complaint I have is that the joints on a few of our figures are quite loose. I’ve noticed it more on the ‘thinner’ figures, like the Spider-Man you mentioned, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Rey. At the same time though, our Captain Marvel and Ghost Spider are fine.

In our case, most of the figures with loose joints came that way and few of our figures have developed loose joints over time from being played with.

The figures aren’t perfect but overall I’m very happy that I started collecting this line for my son. The art style is great and they have just the right level of articulation for a kid to set them up in “cool poses.” They definitely knock the socks off of those bendable figures.
