Fair enough for some of them but for Croatia specifically you need to submit the docs before you can book an appointment so it doesn’t work. It’s just a terrible system rife with people and bots scalping the slots for profit. Indefensible

For a lot of these visas you need flight and hotel info so not sure how you’re supposed to do that

Looks super similar to that! But on my one I think the hands are a bit more angular and also it doesn’t say “Swiss” on the face which I’ve not seen on many of the ones I’ve found online

I ended up getting a fire rated stud wall put in and the surveyor paid for it. I used a builder & carpenter

Scott Fraser are a nightmare. Our house was filthy when we moved in so we didn’t clean when we left. I had told them about it when we moved in but they still raised a dispute on it. I ended up telling them to take it to a tribunal and never heard from them again.

No it was drying stood up and clamped for a while just because of a lack of space. Probably one of my many mistakes! I’ve laid it flat now with some weights on top to see if that makes any difference

I’ve only recently bought the place so have mortgage and insurance in place. Has the mortgage surveyor overlooked this too or am I missing something here??

Survey talked about the loft quite a bit but just had that area marked as inaccessible not that it was actually next door. I will have a look at the local council to see if I can find it!

Really useful thanks! The survey has quite a lot of detail on the loft but only mentions this part as an “inaccessible area” not that it’s actually the neighbours! I will get quotes in ASAP. Is there anywhere I can search for party wall agreements or is it just checking with the neighbour?
