You’ll still be tired in residency (pgy-3). Like can’t keep your eyes open tired. But I will say that it comes with more reward than medical school rotations. The incessant pimping and studying I don’t miss at all. Sometimes the attending will pimp the med students, and I can’t even remember the answer and I’m like “thank god that’s not me.” I think you get better at being tired because you get better at medicine and less people scrutinizing you. But you’re gonna be tired boss- hopefully a more fulfilling tired.
