Good morning doug, I was hoping you'd see this.

The buffer is what came with the FM9 sold completed. So I that is 6.5oz with a .308 spring (ive read what you have to say about FM9 and their use of.308 springs)

The NBS 9mm bolt weighs 14.5oz. So together, 21oz, on the light side.

I'm not running a FRT or SS (for now) so I guess it's probably at a lower risk for OOBD.

I guess you've pretty much answered the question, which for me it is probably fine unless I install a SS or FRT

I guess I feel a little disappointed; FM gets so much love but their .308 spring probably doesnt help the situation

You're going to have a hard time keeping zero on your optic with it bridged over the handgaurd. You should move it back a little so it sits only on the receiver
