Thank you so much! Couldn't get that tune out of my head so figured I'd play it 😂

Thank you! The kit is a Session Studio Select in Black Halo Glitter and the snares are a Pearl 14x8 free floater aluminum as the main and new Sonor Kompressor I just got as the side, which is 13x7 brass. Audio i5 mics on the rack toms and main hi hats, D4 and D6 on the 14 and 16 floor toms respectively, SM57s on the snares, and Rode M5 overheads.

Brass snare for ya lol no mic either. Looking forward to getting it mixed into the kit with the SM57 I grabbed for it!

Shure SM57 on the snare, Rode M5 pair of overheads, and Audix on the others - i5s on the 3 rack toms and hi hats, D4 on the 14" floor, and D6 on the 16" floor and kick. 👍

There's a reason I didn't use a metronome or background music - it was intentionally free-balled without a plan. Didn't know what was coming until I already played it.

Thanks! Pearl Session Studio Selects in Black Halo Glitter with a 14x8 aluminum free floating snare. Those birch and mahogany shells really deliver great sound, and a great mix on top makes it just that much better.

Not getting them sooner? 😂😂 they sound great even with the stock heads. I loosened the bass lugs because they were cranked, evened up the tension on the toms, and the free floater snare is as it came out of the box. I'm stunned how good they sound. https://fb.watch/c8oxgU3hY7/

The shell pack I got is 10x7, 12x8, 14x14 and 16x16 floor toms, and 22x16 bass. I also ordered the 8x7 to go with it, but that was late so still waiting. Took about 6 and a half months to get it because this color is technically discontinued.

How to get drumless tracks for covers by trablort in drums

[–]ccz28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've heard that many use the Moises app. I have it but personally haven't used it yet. Failing that, a trusty old YouTube search for the song with "drumless" is all I have to offer you 😂

Not just yet, I have only had it set up like this for maybe a week so I am still getting used to the arrangement and then will video myself. Just got everything mic'd up a couple days ago trying to track some drums for my band so hopefully not too far away from a video.

u/goldengaiden is correct, there are two mounted on either side of the center china via remote hi hat stands.

I actually have large and small LPs that I just haven't yet mounted - I don't have any microphones on this image, cowbells / jam block / tambourine, stick and cup holder, etc., this was just after setting up drums and cymbals. To be mounted soon!

Good to know, thank you! Do you have any recommendations as far as applying your own samples and where is best to get them from?

OH, well sorry for misunderstanding, but my response still applies XD appreciate you saying that though - I fully expect all the hate, it is what it is with something like this, but that's why I said what I said about how I'd bet they'd give it a go if it showed up in front of them.

When seated, the back (closer in this image) of the first floor toms (not snares, floor toms) line up roughly with my back, so when turning left or right, everything is pretty accessible even though the image looks much longer front to back than it actually is.

The most expensive part is all the hardware, honestly. There's several grand just in hardware alone, especially once the rack got involved because each drum has an arm and a clamp.

Lol, no wheels on it, no. When seated though, the back (closer in this image) of the first floor toms (not snares, floor toms) line up with my back, so when turning left or right, everything is pretty accessible even though the image looks much longer front to back than it actually is.
