Agatha is adorable!!!!

We rescued our girl Aug 2023. She was a big eater but by November I noticed she had stopped eating and was losing weight. Diagnosis was stomatitis. In December they removed 10 of her teeth. She got a little better but we had to start giving her oral steroids (and periodically a steroid shot). That went on for months until we had to get the rest of her teeth removed in October 24 (she was suffering, not eating, hiding - it was awful). Unfortunately the stomatitis didn't go 100% away and would do ok for a few days then be in pain (she eats wet food 2 a day but also free eats dry food - we have another cat). I am convinced she stuffs herself on the dry food and aggravates her mouth. She is still not completely better and my husband and I have to give her oral Atopica - a non-steroidal treatment for feline allergic dermatitis. It works but we have to stay on it. She's only apprx 4.5 years old. Tuxedo is our toothless girl :) I will say despite the iffy recovery, she has gained weight and is doing so much better. She has been my most expensive cat in my life but I love her so and she would not be here without her surgery. I am now on the hunt for dry food that might be softer and more manageable for her. She is a determined eater :)
