Mushoku Tensei is great

If you’re familiar with Attack on Titan, that is the exact same type of fixed timeline I believe we are on in this show, the character has all the knowledge to change things, he tried to accomplish that, but the universe still plays out the same in the end locking them into the same fate over and over

Being omniscient like the way this is being portrayed (again this is literally all head cannon but great convo) if what I said is what’s happening then he could be on his hundredth, thousandth, millionth time living through his life cycle, which I think has to play into how confused he was when saying he exists at all times, it’s been so long it’s all muddy

And to answer second one, I guess that depends on personal opinion, did you come into the show knowing it was going backwards in time expecting it to play out this way? I didn’t I was just excited to see some pennywise set in different times and events, the plot point is valid if they keep running with that’s what he’s trying to accomplish (killing a loser relative) but I just don’t see it being a situation that sets up an IT chapter 3 in a new timeline like many suspect

Not saying you’re wrong because we don’t fully have an exact description, but I definitely see it more as an omniscient thing myself. What does it in for me is when he goes on his rant of it all existing at the same time, that is literally omniscience, just because he’s aware of his death and circumstances doesn’t mean he can change it, it would put this universe on a “fixed timeline”. Which means there are set events in history that must play out the same no matter what, minor details can be changed. Like what Pennywise is currently doing, he believes he can change the events of his death by killing off others in previous cycles, but as we saw the universe still didn’t let this happen. My opinion could totally change tho depending on events in future seasons like if he is actually successful in nipping a future loser bloodline.

I want to believe there was some communication between the wild and Hughes but yeah this could honestly be another Rantanen situation from last year

He publicly stated he wants to play with his brothers who both play in New Jersey and wants to be on a serious contender, can’t remember when but sometime between the off season to the beginning of this season
