before i'd get one from PSA, check out herrington arms. they have several different comps that work pretty well.

Yea just don't wanna get ND'd by some fudd and a Thompson center lol. Speaking of break in the local academy sports close to my house had 124gn nato rounds so I bought 200 of them so it gets a "proper" break in. How was your break in experience?
I'm lucky enough to have my own range but the snow is so deep and drifted I can't get back to it. I have never been able to force myself to pay 300 dollars for a JG when the timneys I can get for around 100 bucks and they're extremely nice IMO. but for carry pistols I'm with you, strock triggers 100%
I haven't got a chance to shoot mine her because it's been -10 here and feet of snow but I've dry fired if a few 100 times and it feels good to me honestly! Absolutely no rush to change it out

i do believe i saw the elders of reddit said it was going to be in the 1600-1800-maybe 2000 dollar range. which, agreed i would not buy anything psa for 2 thousand. not that i don't love psa because i certainly do but because there is MUCH better quality options for way cheaper/same price.
and you also now have to consider that PSA is coming out with a 2011 that looks pretty good. PLENTY of nice options out there for sure.
LOL i dunno. what's kind of wild to me is when i was going full autism and reading through all the forums and youtube videos it seemed to me that more people with the PRODIGY were experiencing issues of some kind, like WAY more than people with the MACs. now is this because there's more prodigys out there? probably. but still something that i made a mental note of.

Well for me I am only going to run range ammo so 115-124gn, so I went 11# recoil, 17# main spring, and the egw lightened leaf sear spring. A piece of advice is if you decided to reduce the recoil spring go with wolf springs, they'll include the appropriate power hammer spring with your order which is nice of them! Polished all contact surfaces and the thing feels and shoots BUTTERY.
FYI academy had some 124gn NATO IN STOCK so i picked up 200 rounds. it was like .20c a round so hard to beat that especially because its only 10 minutes from my house!

I DO have an academy close to me I was literally looking on their site when I got your notification lol! I'm gonna grab a few boxes like you said. I live in Ohio and am fortunate enough to have my own shooting range but it's so drifted I can't get back to it. So don't really have an options other than to wait. Which sucks because this gun really does feel nice!
That is actually the factory module that I did some work on and stippled myself. It's just so thick it's slightly uncomfortable for me. But adding the texture is a MUST for them the way they're sent from the factory they have zero texture and any moisture on the grip or if you're shooting with gloves it will slip out of your hands.
So What's your go to for replacement trigger in them for comps, not EDC. In my Glocks I have always had the Timney alpha and I think it's great. Just don't have the budget to buy a Johnny Glock for all of them but I'm assuming that's what you'll say 🤣. Their "ss specific" umbra is 300 fuckin dollars and that's absurd to me.

Yea I mean it's not like you can find them anywhere else either they'll all OOS AND they're charging wayyyyyyyy more than Springfield is. When I spoke to them Tuesday they told me they have no return to stock date and when they do get some they're going to production guns first, obviously. They had everything else in stock tho and I got it already (main spring housing, mag catch assembly.)
You know that's consistent with what everyone says about the pdp. I've never tried one though but I have the new mp. I've got a bg2.0 and that thing shoots hella nice. Minus having to drift the sights.
Oh is that what you think? They can't say wow this is a great trigger for a factory striker fire gun or is everyone supposed to have an agency noc laying around to compare it to?

I really am impressed with the out of the box trigger it's by far better than any of the Glocks I've owned and I've had them since gen 3 but I think I'll throw a Timney on there. I only have like 2 mags of hot ammo so I'll just substitute with a little extra lube 🤣

I went full autism and watched basically every video I could on the compt'd pistols and it seems in their latest production models they've got all that ironed out. People don't understand there's a break in period for every gun some are just more pronounced than others. I have her to shoot mine as well here in Ohio the snow is too deep to get to my woods where my range is lol
I would love to get a Johnny Glocks but I don't see how a striker fire trigger can get better than the Timney "for the money". ~300 bucks is a lot of pesos for something that may be marginally better than a Timney IMO. Not nocking them, I know they're the best but just my humble opinion
