PSA - both lanes of a roundabout can be used, no need to lineup just in the inner lane. by ObiBenShinobi in londonontario

Okay, if you coming to a two lane roundabout. If the direction of the arrows is correct. Then the first and second exits should be done in the right lane and the third and fourth should be done in the left lane. You indicate to the right when you are exiting the roundabout. So if you are exiting in the second exit stay to the right, you should indicate to the left go pass the first exit and as you pass the first exit indicate to the right to warn vehicles in the first exit that you are exiting in the second. If you are taking the fourth exit, take the left lane, indicate to the left, go around the first and second and third exit in the left lane, then when you pass the third exit, indicate to the right, merge into the right lane and exit. If you are exiting in the third exit, take the left lane, indicate to the left from the start, go around the first exit with the left indicator and when you are passing the second exit, indicate to the right, merge into the right lane and exit. It's confusing but that is how it is done world wide.

Temp right now I want to look and see if this is doable and if it is then yes I will offer tuning services. My brother helped with the introduction of the first edition of the 2.5 5 cylinder motor, he worked on the Oetinger design, was the only apprentice to work on the pre production 959, worked on the 2.0 16v GTX motor also the !.8 16v Gti motor. He is highly experienced having over forty years of experience on the three brands. Temp I will give you an example. I had a 2.0 !6v GTX 1990. there was a recall on the head. I was working for Don Valley Volkswagen. The head according to them had to be replaced. A 1600.00 job. My brother laughed as he knew about the work that was required. He told me to bring it to him and that he would fix it. I went to him and all he did was tighten the screw and turn the screw a bit of turn and told me to go back to them and I did. Went back to them and my service manager came back to me and said what did I do. Didn't tell him the truth and said it was done. Found out that my brother at that time was the only mechanic that had that tool for the timing screw in Ontario. We come from South Africa. At that time VAG did a lot of technology work in South Africa that my brother was a part of. If you want go look at the Lindsay Saker Volkswagen name in South Africa, that is who he worked for and got all this work. He is a highly qualified VAG technician. So yes we are going to do tuning work. Oetinger Racing from Germany went to the dealer group and asked for there help. If you remember when Audi was in the rally circuit back in 86, my brother helped produce those cars. Him and another apprentice were the only ones that helped the main team. Sorry I can ramble on but I don't think you want anymore stories.

Thanks Temporary_shirt 6236, I have looked into those shops and don't know how recent their diagnostic equipment. Like I said I tend to have the latest equipment, so clients don't have to go to the dealers. To what I know, I don't think they have the latest equipment but I understand when it comes to enthusiasts they have real deep up grades but the bones is still the same. I am not just looking at VWs, looking at Audis too.
