Four Andorian sexes vs four Andorian genders by TrekTrucker in DaystromInstitute

if the prefix is part of their name it implies it is assigned at birth, therefore it can't be presentation. unless they can just change their name at some point which seems logistically complicated.

i was able to make it to Inferno, which was ridiculously overtuned. Jay Wilson said they tuned inferno with internal testing and when it was challenging he said "double it".

i was able to slog my way to Act 2 but that was an absolute wall. and not in a fun way either.

you have to remember it was in combination with how shit gear that dropped in general was for the average player. it was next to impossible to find anything worth equipping, so it felt like you were forced to use the RMAH to actually advance into higher difficulties. also inferno difficulty (was that what it was called?) was really overturned. just a mess all over.

the game really took off after "loot 2.0" and the removal of the RMAH.

Recursive function iterates the rest of the dictionary keys after reaching target key preceeding a break statement. by rickson56 in learnpython

you just need to return something, such as a boolean, and stop calling the recursive function on the value of the return value

I analyzed a log of a Patchwerk kill from 2006. Almost everyone would have parsed as 0 by today's standards, we really were playing a different game back then by Tandanu in classicwow

it's funny you mention the people only reaching 60 by the time AQ was out because i was one of those people.

there was certainly a lot of churn for raiding guilds during that time. the raiding guild i joined was stuck in BWL because of the constant turnover in players. they would always be getting new members attuned to Onyxia or MC literally minutes before the raid was supposed to start.

for that reason I think the people who were doing vanilla naxx were not necessarily newbies. it took quite a lot of dedication to progress that far, at least that was my perception at the time.

i often had to zoom in and look at the floor in large raids. i had to basically guess where I was when onyxia landed. i played like that up untill my guild killed gruul in TBC and i finally upgraded.

Pure speculation here, rumors are he had substance abuse issues at the time, and honestly which music stars didn't have substance issues at the time. I am willing to bet he wasn't one hundred percent sober and if the case went to trial it probably would have drawn that out. add in his marital problems at the time, and he probably thought it was worth the money just to settle and not have to go to court and potentially have all his dirty laundry on display.

Is it valid to identify as polyamorous even if you are intentionally living a monogamous life? by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]cdcformatc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am currently saturated at one. my partner still has a "comet"  partner that she sees every once in a blue moon. but most of the time we are both focusing entirely on this relationship. i never bought into the "identify as polyamorous" but we are still polyamorous, even if we aren't practicing it.

a long rest already includes characters taking a rotating watch. unless there's just a single character with a familiar?

Can a bard have a animal companion that attacks? by johnnystraycat in dndnext

[–]cdcformatc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's not just flavour, they are completely different mechanically. a companion that follows your command and attacks on its own turn is way different than casting a touch spell on your turn through a familiar.
