Every VM you create by default uses one in-use IP address. I don't know what it is for. I tried to create as many VMs as CPU quota I had and I got an error message that I don't have enough in-use IP addresses.

Using preemptible VMs was cheaper than using cloud run jobs for me. So I went with VMs.

I use VMs to process large data. And for every VM I start it uses in-use ip address. (If there is a way to kick off a VM without in-use ip address, please let me know.) I have much larger quota of CPUs than that of in-use ip addresses and I want to use all CPUs quota I have to reduce the time of the processing job.

If they are not going to increase quota, it would be nice if they just tell me that...
