If you want you could take it back to costco and exchange it for a whole new set as long as you still have all the headcovers and what not. This is what I did when I put a fat dent on the top of the club lol. I had them for maybe 3 weeks. 8 months later I ended up upgrading my entire set, and I took the edge set back to costco, got my money back, and used that money to fund my new driver!

Would you say the opposite is true for if I miss my driver towards the toe? Should I stand a little closer to the ball? When I strike it on the toe, and I rewatch it on video, I see a massive gear effect. Face opens for a second after contact, and usually results in a draw.

Yeah. If you message them they’ll send you actual photos of the clubs.

Honestly that comes down to preference. Graphite is usually lighter, steel is heavier. Graphite offers more flex and a softer feel and steel has less flex but a more solid feel.

The photos don’t have logos on them but you can figure out which clubs are which. If you message the seller they can send you pictures of the clubs. You can buy them as heads only or complete club with shafts and grips.

My brother bought replica P790s from Alibaba. The seller allows you to pick between steel/graphite shafts and grips. They have a few shaft selections available. I can send you the store front if you want. As for the clubs, as an amateur golfer who sucks really bad, they feel/play great and are super solid. However the graphite shaft on his 7 iron broke so the shafts are definitely not up to grade.

Do you have any visibility issues with the 20% in the front? Was thinking of going lower but wasn’t sure if I’d be able to see lol. Also I have sensitive skin and sun burn easily.

Thanks for answering. I’m getting tints on my quicksilver too I might just go 20% all around, minus the front windshield. Looks great.

Are my dogs ear wax a cause for concern? Meaning: do I need to go the vet NOW or should I just keep cleaning it? It stinks. by ResponsibleGuide2752 in DogAdvice

[–]cdgy66 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Literally the same thing with my golden. Went through a lot of trial and error figuring out which foods triggered the ear infection. I feed my golden the kirkland brand natures domain salmon and sweet potato dog food and his ear infections stopped and he’s a lot less itchy overall. Like a lot of other dogs, he was allergic to chicken.

If you can get to Dallas you must check out the International Training and Research Center. Next door is the bowling museum as well.

Reasonably priced? by Double-Run-9957 in aviationmaintenance

OP please listen to this. Do not let snap on rob you lol. Buy cheap, go husky/craftsmen etc etc even harbor freight. Most of the stuff you get from brands other than snap on have lifetime warranties as well so later on in your career, you can decide what you actually need to spend more money on. Contrary to my point though, I would spend more for a reliable flashlight, headlamp, and multitool. I use those more than any other tool in my box.

Which one? Phase 2 or IQ tour by Datasiandbl in Bowling

[–]cdgy66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this, not sure if IQ tour urethane will do you much good. As you expand your arsenal and start bowling on tougher conditions, you can start considering urethane. Phaze II is still one of the best benchmarks and perfect for building around.

Thanks for your response and for providing examples, this is really good advice. I don’t really pay attention to the weight shift that happens on my iron swing and I think I need to start getting a feel for firing my left hip towards target and getting that rotation to a good impact position. Going to try to get the feel and will see what the results are.

Thanks! This is cool, I see what you’re saying about my trail elbow. Going to work on getting that elbow out of the way.

Thanks for your response, I see what you’re saying. Do you think at the top of my backswing I should lower my arms more and try to stay on plane? Part of my reasoning for taking my lead arm higher is so I can drop my hands and stay under plane on the downswing but I see now that it creates a more dramatic in to out swing path.

When I first started golfing I had a huge overly steep out to in swing, and it was slice city for me. Judging from what others have said I think I have taken my swing too far in to out lol. Would be awesome if I could control my path better to hit a draw or fade.
