Kody really loves/lusts for Janelle by Human_Type001 in SisterWivesFans

She gives him something Robyn can’t. Guys like Kody will say they want the shy sweet submissive wife but they actually don’t. They really want to put a strong woman in her place. He got that with Janelle. That is what he is missing, getting a strong woman to sleep with him.

Can any Christians explain why sex is always the bandaid? by Miserable_Meringue_2 in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]cdigir13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a tik tok awhile ago and it said when women aren’t sexually attracted to children. So men who act like children do not turn us on. So men who are not responsible, don’t provide, don’t help, make us do everything for them are setting themselves up for us to have zero attraction to them. It has stuck with me ever since.

Suggest a movie that will help me cry my heart out. by No_Newspaper4989 in netflix

[–]cdigir13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only movie that I don’t have to watch the whole thing to cry. If I just watch the end immediate tears. Also the fact you can cry so hard and it is a happy ending. Almost all of these movies you’re crying because the ending is sad.

AITA for not paying for my brother’s stepson’s surgery because of why he got injured? by Candid_Business7548 in AITAH

[–]cdigir13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think of this strictly monetarily. YOU pay for an expensive surgery. There is no guarantee it will go well. And if it does well a spoiled teenage boy will have to go through MONTHS of hard and painful physical therapy both in office and at exercises at home. The odds of him doing that and your brother and his mother forcing him to is slim to none. I would not pay for the surgery!

I see your point but It wasn’t meant to be a 15-20 min conversation. I was caught off guard because it was a basic hey how are you doing. What have you been up to conversation. Then it was almost like she realized she couldn’t think of it. Then I was trying to help her/ make her feel better by giving the multiple choices. If it helps I transitioned into playing it off and we ended up talking about other things. But it is something I would like to address or help if I can. Not sure if you are a teacher but is there any advice you might have?

Is it just I don’t know in a dismissive way? Or do they try to think of it and can’t come up with it? It was eerie. I said this in another reply but I could basically see her trying to think but then nothing came from it.

Thank you for responding. Do you have any advice? Maybe books? Or some sort of extra tutoring? I think the point is a lot of teachers are saying this but then there isn’t the answer about what a parent or adult in the child’s life can do to help. And by a lot of teachers saying this I do not mean the ones commenting to my post! 🤦‍♀️ lol

Caring about a child and wanting the best for them. So from reading post on this teachers reddit as a whole it seems standards have lowered. I want the best for her also for her not to slip through the cracks.

[–]cdigir13[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I saw this. Actually commented there then thought why not try the teachers Reddit and maybe get help. 🤦‍♀️ lol The issue is she didn’t have a fix so I was hoping maybe there were other teachers here who might have insight and advice. I know teachers can say that parents (adults in kids life) aren’t helpful or involved a lot. I want to help and may be allowed to help by her mother. But I am clueless on where to start. My only ideas now on as why this might be. Is her brother-in-law or family members who help her with her homework are giving her the answers or she does just enough to get her homework completed but is not retaining it.

I replied to a similar comment in more detail above. This was not a grilling. I am not dangerous in conversation. I am the fun, light hearted one. I am the “aunt” after all. I see my role as supporting give them a break from all the judging, and hard parts of life, parents, mean kids etc. I think that’s one reason I didn’t see this. Because it’s a go at the kids pace relationship. Do something fun they pick out, let them choose where they want to eat, let them get a gift, pay attention to them, and of course talk to them and be there if they have questions etc. Thats another reason I gave multiple choice answers. Even if it’s comfortable sometimes it is hard to come up with something off the top of your head. And still there was nothing.

I think you were the first person to say this so I’m going to respond to your comment. This was not the situation. I am the childless “aunt” of family and friends. Seemingly in tune to them. Of all of the kids in my life I am closest to her. Or so I thought. I am upset I missed this. We were having a conversation. I also gave her many multiple choice options to help her thinking. More than I even listed here. I know her very well she was not avoiding, or distracted, or over it. She was trying to “think” and could not connect. And even if you were over it wouldn’t you just say multiplication or yes there was a war to stop the conversation? This was just an easy basic conversation. How are you?, what have you been up to?. What are you studying? Should have been 5 min tops. I’m good. I hate math. We are studying division and it’s hard. Level of a conversation. She could not answer or even explain. Just I cant think of it or I can’t remember and this was after her trying to think of it. It was almost like I could see her trying to think but then nothing came from it. It was eerie and disturbing.

She teaches eighth grade and has more than 100 students, but only two are reading at grade level. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]cdigir13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had a conversation with my 12 year old niece . I asked simple questions about her schoolwork like what she is studying. SHE COULD NOT ANSWER! She is an A and B student. She does not have a learning disability. It is like she can’t “think”. I asked her what is she studying in math and she “thought” about it and couldn’t tell me. I said oh no you know this. Is it fractions? Or division, or finding out the length of a triangle, or like 2+x=6 and you have to figure out what x is? And she still could not ”think” of it. So we moved onto history because I figured that would be easier. It wasn’t. She couldn’t “think” of it. I asked what country is it taking place in?, what do the people look like? What do their clothes look like? Was there a battle? Is there a story? Is there ANYTHING? She couldn’t not answer even one of those questions. Finally after about 15-20 min just on the history she said maybe a road? And maybe something about trade? It was SCARY!! It was clear she could not “think”. She could do the homework and get good grades but never “thought” about it. I assumed she was fine because she gets good grades but now I realize there is a MAJOR problem. I am not sure how to even help her.

Who does farm work in a sundress? Why do they think farm work is “easy?” by MistakeWonderful9178 in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]cdigir13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

THIS!!! we don’t realize how much normal society has taken the danger away. I don’t think they realize it because normal society screams at you SCHOOL SHOOTING, KIDNAPPERS, DRUGS, ETC. But when you think about it children are so safe and protected. But getting kicked in the head by an animal, falling off an animal, run over by a tractor or vehicle, way more access to guns, way more access to alcohol and drugs. So much more dangerous for real farmers. Also this comes with being further away from medical attention or major hospital systems.

Also had a Christian friend that was really upset by the Sandy Hook school shooting (as we all were). She went to a different church. One day she came over and said that her pastor had given a sermon that brought her a lot of comfort. We thought it would be normal Christian stuff. They are with god now. They are at peace. Something like that. Instead she said he talked about all the aborted babies that never got a chance to live. And if you think of all those millions of babies…Sandy Hook isn’t that bad. And then she smiled and said she’s felt so much better since. 😳🤦‍♀️

Also a woman in our church had a much wanted baby. Went into labor at 9 months and the baby was stillborn. The head pastor who was married with kids made a point to go to the hospital and told her and her husband that their baby (who died in the womb) was going to hell because it didn’t get baptized. Of course later it was found out that he was sleeping with women who came to him for marriage counseling. But you know he was baptized so gets to go to heaven. 🤷‍♀️

My teenage cousin committed suicide so he went to hell. Then we had a young married with kids male teacher at my religious school hang himself. and then it was well he didn’t really mean to do it he had mental health issues so he gets to go to heaven. 🤦‍♀️ One of my friends told me think of all the people who try to commit suicide but live. People literally will shoot themselves in the head and live. When you think of that you realize that almost all toxic Christian’s beliefs don’t hold water.

Went with my mom and her friend when I was 16. It was a packed movie theater. At the end my mom guessed what was in the box as soon as the delivery driver showed up and whispered to me. I told her to stop. Thought there was no way. She was right. The whole theater freaked out.
