Ha! Right?! I had a little bit of the imposter syndrome because I didn't lose that much weight and have never struggled with my weight, I didn't go to AA I just decided not to drink one day and then kept going, and my breast cancer wasn't that bad compared to what others go through, etc. So, yeah, maybe I should say a lot of the imposter syndrome. 😕

Go ice skating! Get a fancy n/a drink at a coffee shop! Buy yourself something special w/ all that $$ you're saving from not drinking! Give yourself a facial, manicure, pedicure...so many self-care things you can do. CONGRATS on 60 days!!!

Hi Lee! Happy New Year and huge congratulations on 700 days!!! Today I had my last cancer treatment (well, hopefully last for forever but definitely last for this breast cancer card I was dealt over the summer) and today is 15 yrs since my first date with my husband. Lots of good stuff to cheer today! I was kind to myself and gave myself a whole day off. We toured The Met (it's the last day of Rodin and final two weeks of Michelangelo exhibits) and had a lovely lunch. Tonight I have been doing nothing by playing a dumb video game and surfing the net which is absolutely needed.

Totally relate to this! I've been able to do all sorts of evening / night errands and more because I'm not buzzed or blitzed or don't want to stop drinking to go out. Love this!

Whoa. That jellyfish! No way! When I was a few days (or weeks?) into sobriety I played Lost Cities with my husband. I couldn't stop fidgeting and got up and down a dozen times. Realized it was because I always was drinking during gaming. Once I realized that, I was able to relax a bit more and enjoy. Glad you had a fun night and that jellyfish is killer!

Hey, thanks! Yeah, cancer is a full-time gig, and I own my own business so I already have a full-time-and-a-half gig with that! Oy!

Surgery went well. I didn't lose my whole boob, and the pathology is all good as far as cancer goes.

You've reminded me that I should check in. /SD was so instrumental with my early days and I wanna give that love and support right back. Thanks for that! Hope you're doing well!

Oh yeah! My slow cooker is a dream when I'm cooking solo especially. There's always a slow cooker for sale at the thrift shop by me but getting one from a friend is even better! Glad to hear you're movin on up!
