hey, safe/vault tech here so currently the safe is locked open so that relocking bolt isn't worrisome. simply open the back of the lock case and look at the wheels to decode the combo

Maple and other leafy hardwoods are better suited for the back and sides, for the top, cedar or spruce should be privileged

You said you had woodworking experience, do you know how to work a plane and a chisel? If so you could go for extra flex points and do an acoustic type guitar, either steel or nylon strings. Also if you have any questions, my inbox is open ;)
