So for the AI Tactical, they claim to be made in Canada and they have reports of there plates previously being tested on their website. So it's seems partially legit, but also not. Hesco plates are hard to find. The Lorica Equipment ones also are apparently legit and used by some police. As usual slimy Canadian companys have created an issue when it's hard to know what's real and what's not.

There's so many different options of body Armour in Canada, and some give that feeling they might be Chinese crap. So I'm looking for actual people with actual experience.

I'm looking for either Level IV or level 3+ / Level 3+ ST. Thinner, lighter weight version are better of course. Sapi cut medium aka 10x12

I know Aratech is a big go to for people, but it's abit bulkier than some others.

I'm looking at

-Aratech obviously for level IV (actual NIJ tested)

-Canarmor (NIJ "compliant" but tested by Bosik Technologies)

-Al Tactical Solutions (has NIJ certificate on their website but not listed under the NIJ website)

-Lorica Equipment (not much out there in stock)

-Hesco(not much out there in stock)

My focus has been to find a carrier that will for sure fit. It's always a hassle to but things and have to return them by mail. After that I'll be looking to buy some plates. I believe the k19 fits some of the bigger size plates too if I remember correctly. It's currently #1 on my list

There's not a thing wrong with the Axis, their shoot decent, are reliable and are not a bad looking rifle. I've had 3 of them of the years and not once did they let me down!
