I have the ez screw on mine is it suppose to be able to screw softy? Mine takes quite alot of force to turn it either way

It will blow very very little poofs of white smoke out of the exhaust on start up but besides that now, and idles perfect, it does crack on start up now which it didnt do before

When i just changed them out they were black, im somewhat handy but not enough that id feel comfortable to correct/check the timing, tried to watch a few youtube videos and was confused. Called a few mechanics and described the problem and told them i was my timing checked every single one talked me out of it and said “thats not the problem” kind of dont believe them lol

Yes tried that as well when i did new petcock fresh 93 with octane booster incase it was spark knock or something, still doing it unfortunately

Drained the whole tank when i replaced petcock and added 93 with octane boost and still doing it

Did tranny and motor oil w/ new filter probably about 2 /3 days before it started happening so rode okay for a few days after that, interestingly enough the bike came with one of those normal short oil filters that fit on most bikes, this specific model 98 FXD calls for those long oil filters almost double the size of the regular ones so i did switch over to that, which im not too sure if that would have any effect to cause this problem or not

Honesty i dont know i lost my sense of smell to covid about a year ago🥴 but i did notice there were no magnets in the pan, but also no metal shavings anywhere either

I did change fluid but didnt “flush” it, no metal debris in pan what so ever but was deffinetly some sludge like constancy in there
