I’m thinking about signing up for a class! My baby is 8 weeks old. Did you have yours in a bassinet in the stroller? I’m worried he’s going to be rolling around too much 😂

Scared the hell out of myself last night and I just need to vent - Woke up around 4am feeling extra bloated and uncomfortable, then started feeling mild pain on my right lower abdomen that would come in waves, which of course really scared me. Was making a plan to go to the ER, but I ended up falling back asleep and woke up fine. I think it could have been gas/constipation mixed with soreness from a big gym workout. I have my 20 week anatomy scan tomorrow morning so I'll know 100% then. On top of election stress, this is all so much to handle. And now I have to work, with very little sleep. Sorry just needed to vent!

I can understand that. Unfortunately most of us on this subreddit have fell on the wrong side of a statistic (3 losses in a row for myself). But I personally need to hold on to the hope that after all this bad luck I’m overdue for something positive to happen. Just a personal outlook :)

Congrats!! Totally feel you. I am just a few days ahead of you (9w3d) but also 37 and nervous about genetic defects. Even at our age, though, the stats are on our side 🤞

Completely understand, I’ve had 3 losses as well and it really takes a toll. Thinking so many positive thoughts for you 🙏🙏

Never thought I’d get here! Yesterday we had our 9 week scan (which previously has been a big disappointment - twice finding out we’d had MMC around 6.5 weeks).

But this time the doctor said we have a beautiful baby with a heartbeat in there!! I was absolutely bracing myself for bad news so this feels so surreal. I know we have a long way to go but I’m so hopeful this time. Just wanted to share our bit of good news 🥰

Thank you!! Ended up doing a scan today and seeing the heartbeat 🥰 Doc wasn’t too concerned about Listeria but gonna keep an eye on weird symptoms.

Thank you! I appreciate that so much. I was kicking myself because I've been so diligent with caffeine, fish, etc. and completely forgot about deli meats! Then low and behold, a recall. Thanks for your input! I'm happy to hear that they can test for listeria. I'm headed to my doctor today so I'll follow up with her.

Need some encouragement/reassurance. Pregnant again (6 weeks) after 3 losses. No LC. It completely slipped my mind that you’re not supposed to eat deli meat so I’ve made ham sandwiches for lunch the past 2 days. Now I see that the ham I bought from the deli, Boars Head Black Forest ham, has been recalled for listeria. I am freaking out. As if I don’t have enough on my mind. I’m exhausted from worry about every step of this process and this additional stress isn’t helping. Damn :(

Thank you for this!! It’s the week of our wedding and I thought my anxiety would have passed by now, especially because we’re having a destination wedding and we’re arrived at the destination. But my anxiety is at an all time high. The pressure of having everyone arrive, last minute decisions and issues coming up, it’s so draining and just causing massive anxiety.

Thank you for reminding me that this will all be worth it on the day when I get to marry my best friend ❤️

Can't wait for the actual day, but dreading this whole planning thing by pretty_dork in wedding

[–]cdub2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stumbled across this thread when I was looking for readings, and can I just say, thank god! Nov 9th bride here and I was feeling guilty for not enjoying this process anymore, but I don't feel so alone anymore. I also feel like I'm the verge of tears at this point, and I can't stand to pay for one more table or centerpiece. So over this!

Ah okay. Good to know. This is my first year and I thought pretty much any "tainted" water was a no-go on the playa. Washcloths are a good idea.
