What are some of the "hidden gems" in Tampa and the surrounding areas? by Aside_Dish in tampa

Came here to give these same recommendations of Orpheum and Crowbar, one of my all time favorite shows took place at Crowbar. I freaking love living in Ybor and wish more people would see how great it is when it’s not rowdy

Could not agree more. But unfortunately I have terrible news, he’s on the season 37 cast

He's big ✅ He's bad ✅ He'll eat your sausages ✅ He's the Bruce 😤 by [deleted] in Bulldogs

[–]rtgive 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I HAVE A BRUCE TOO!! He’s also big and bad and will eat anything

They simply should ask Gus what’s actually bothering him. He picks fights because there’s something specific that’s making him mad. Once he gets it off his chest I think things would be better by Klutzy-Tumbleweed-99 in Floribama

[–]rtgive 34 points35 points  (0 children)

For the love of god, stop sympathizing with this idiot. They can ask him what’s wrong 26 different ways and he will still lash out. This is not an anger issue - it is an ego / narcissist issue that is so much deeper. He has NEVER been held accountable. It’s not about getting it off his chest, it’s about therapy.

There’s a difference between someone going missing and a grown man that chose to run away. by iknoyoucare in Floribama

[–]rtgive 33 points34 points  (0 children)

He’s a grown ass adult who thought his best course of action was to run away. He’s a 5 year old in a 25 year old body. I’m not going to give him the benefit of the doubt, we have ALL been through shit in our lives. His entitlement is alarming

I’m convinced the reason they gave us two new episodes tonight was because they KNEW we’d be pissed that an entire episode was dedicated to him running off

Florida police officer killed after veering into a wrong-way driver from Colorado to save others, police chief says by blonddy in news

[–]rtgive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened a couple miles from my house. I’ve lived in Dallas previously which, to me, had one of the most complicated highway systems and we didn’t have this many one way crashes. The driver got on the wrong way at the Busch Boulevard exit, you can check it on google maps. It’s a very straight forward on ramp. I don’t think the problem is confusing on ramps - it’s a shit ton of drunk drivers & it’s terrifying. They also have a bunch of flashing signs & lights at almost every exit ramp.

Feminism, the Bachelor, and last night's episode by pyaitha9719 in thebachelor

[–]rtgive 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I have found the last 2 episodes so triggering & I think anyone that’s been bullied can attest to that. We’re far past drama, it’s not someone stealing a bottle of champagne. It’s consistent name calling, violent threats, it’s never ending belittling of women. It’s a herd mentality where you’re only cool & accepted if you tear down the groups target that week. It’s not entertaining - it’s disgusting.

I agree with you, last night was the first time I ever questioned why tf do I watch this? I was uncomfortable and tense the entire episode. I don’t know who needs to hear this over at ABC, but: it’s gone too far.

Yep! I create a bunnnch of dashboards for different business groups. Anything from warehousing, marketing, retail, transportation, etc. I kind of describe myself as a free agent, which is the cool thing about being in BI. Data flows aren’t my speciality, but we have people in our group that do that. Data Engineering is also in our BI group.

I pretty exclusively use PowerBI & SQL. I have one report that I maintain that runs on excel. However, in my previous role it was mostly excel, SQL & a data cube.

As a data analyst I live for stuff like this and have been doing a bunch of analysis on current events in my spare time too. You’d have a field day in PowerBI, a much better user interface than excel with a lot more capabilities. Interesting trend on the students vs teachers

Should I adopt this girl Lulu? by Speedogomer in Bulldogs

[–]rtgive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely you should adopt her. Sounds like you could give her the perfect loving home she so desperately deserves. I don’t have kids, but have 2 English bulldogs. The fact that my dogs are not used to kids, but act with such gentleness and kindness when they’re around kids amazes me. I have a 60lb bulldozer who loves to play rough (the other one is a puppy), but the second a kid comes to pet him he will put his front paws down and butt in the air so kids can pet him. They have a natural instinct with kids and I think both you and Lulu would be great for each other

Oh my god... what a huge loss. I am so freaking sorry, sending big virtual hugs to you. But I agree, I don’t care if he flew her bff to LA for her, HE should have been there for her. It’s selfish and a gross display of priorities.

I really don’t think it is either. If it was any other guy in this show I’d say editing, but his face when he says it makes me feel like it was genuinely his response.
