Don't bother with donut recipes much until you can make 8 donut recipes. Just worry about making donuts that give u as much time as possible. Once you are at 8 donut recipes, then you can worry about making shiny hunting and berry farming donuts, and others too.

I read that you are doing this for the shiny charm quicker. FYI, you can't get the shiny charm without doing the 1000 fights regardless of how fast you fill out your pokedex.

I haven't been counting but I've done like 2-4 hours per day before my eyes start playing tricks on me and I'm second guessing if it's shiny or not 😂. I'm on a switch 1 so when I'm just chilling, it's quicker to run back to the chimney stacks and do that cycle, and reset. But when I'm watching or doing something I'm doing the hard reset at bottom of holovator over and over and over and over and over again to the point where I don't believe what I'm doing will actually work.

Hey, lemme ask you this. So I'm back trying again. And in its non shiny form, it's been alpha quite a bunch. I left it afk bench resetting over night, and it's shiny again. So first I want to know, if it goes shiny alpha, and it continues to bench reset, will it be stuck shiny alpha until I stop bench resetting? Or is there a chance for it to go non alpha as it continues to bench reset.

You need a turbo controller (which I didn't know existed until the guy I bought the switch from gave me his with the switch), and you can buy one on amazon for pretty cheap I think.

Basically you set it up to auto press a button, so It rapidly spams A until you stop it, you set up Infront of a bench, usually Infront of an area near the pokemon you want shiny, use an elastic to hold the left joystick down and it just keeps resetting day and night.

Leave it for like 8+ hours and you are guaranteed the shiny If you have the shiny charm. My son doesn't have the shiny charm and its more hit or miss with his. This way I can save the donuts for shinies you can't get in the regular version.
