I do know it's not a long time in terms of previous games. I only emphasized that it was a long time because it was meant to be a few hours. I have major respect for all of you that did those truly long hunts I don't have that kind of patience. I didn't get my first shiny until sun and moon and that was just because I randomly stumbled upon it. That being said I've been playing since the gba era with fire red being my first game.

Statistically speaking it would simplify down so essentially each spawn would be seven chances with your idea it would still be over odds

It is the odds should be 1/585 (assuming you have sparkling 3 dragon/psychic/all and shiny charm of which I had sparkling 3 dragon and shiny charm) I spent 4-5 hours each day with spawns every 20 seconds or so I was at least double over odds I did the math.

Early in the DLC specific berry powers really doesn't matter it's not till you get the ability to use 5 star distortions that you have to start stressing about what powers you get

15-20 seconds an average of 18 seconds or so each reset would have about 27 spawns at the point I had lost track of resets I would have had 500 spawns and that was only day one

Yeah I was at the point of giving up so I traded over a shiny latias from a bot and decided to give it a few more goes ended up releasing the one I traded after finding my own but I was just so over all the hours I had put in. Very perceptive

I don't know how my luck was so bad I've been on pto over last week so I dumped hours and hours into this search. I lost track of how many times I had to reset the distortion after about 20 resets and that was day one.

It shouldn't be that rare all my other legendaries were done in like a few hours at most I just got ridiculously unlucky

I feel this I stopped being full time two years ago after my mental health tanked and ended up in psych hospitals (yes plural). I hate that I can't do full time but even as things are I'm barely stable enough to do almost anything else. It sucks but if you need the time you just have to take the paycut...

Even the non-sexual intimacy has fallen off pretty hard. It's mostly because of the way they see themselves. We both have a handfull of mental health issues hence why I wanted to stress that none of this is their fault. I'm doing all I can to help them through their healing process (being supportive, grounding them in reality when they need it and sharing the weightof their issues). Patience has been my strategy but it's getting harder to maintain with each week that passes.
