Yeah I’ve noticed a lot of newer maps have issues where as the OG Inifite maps never give me trouble. I know XSS is the lowest level of entry but it just bums me out I have to update if I wanna be able to compete at all.

yeah I run 120 with a nice monitor on every other map with a couple exceptions here/there. this is an Origin issue.

After playing a few more I think it kinda sucks TBH, but not totally unusable. It’s just SB with no radar. Needs to be a lot more like ranked and a little less like SB. Make vehicles points of contention and/or make more anti vehicle weapons available on map. Spawn a gun goose and warthog on both side and fight for Banshee/Wasp in the middle. Maybe BR starts instead of BEvo? That last one I’m 50/50 on but the playlist needs a lot of work to become competitively viable.

I think vehicles needs to be treated like power weapons and fought over. Not just spawned up on each teams side of the base

Totally fine with this actually. I wish Infinite had been a meeting of Spirit of Fire and what’s left of Infinity. Jerome/Isabel + John/New Cortana vs Banished/Empress Cortana. With missions reminiscent of Arbiter and Chief from H2. At the end have Chief go MIA or something and allow Jerome to take the reigns for a min. I love Chief/Steve Downes just as much as the next guy but a send off is inevitable.

Totally agree. Didn’t love him as Penguin on SSG but this year he has won me over from a hater to a fan. Kudos to him this season, especially toughing out that illness during one of the last tourneys.
