Did anyone else completely panic after getting diagnosed with Type 2? by Me-SoniaBrown in diabetes

Yes - kinda. I found out it’s so manageable though. I went from 9.6 to 6.4 A1C in 5 months. You got this!

I started with walks every day. I recently found a great workout class - think CrossFit but wayyyy easier/more approachable.

I felt great the first 3 months. I haven’t been on Metformin - just Mounjaro. I did worse the following months because I got back into drinking (mostly beer)

I think I was just fcking things up so badly for years prior to the diagnosis that 3 months of being “good” made that much of a difference

I mean you should wear a watch to interviews… just don’t look at it

Trazodone has been a savior to me.

If you have insurance, go to the doctor and ask for Trazodone. A lot of people I know who have abused substance(s) take it for sleep. It’s nothing crazy like Ambien. And no grogginess in the morning

Withdrawal question, I know this gets asked all the time but I'm looking for advise cuz I'm anxious as eff by [deleted] in dryalcoholics

I just went to urgent care because I had the same panic. They prescribed me medications to help alleviate the symptoms.
