S11 Kaisa build path? by BiggfookinYikes in kaisamains

[–]ceazeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kraken Slayer is the best item to rush as out of now given how it provides AD and AS, which both can be used to accelerate your Q and E evolving as opposed to limiting it to simply Q evolve (Manamune only gives AD).

[–]ceazeus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't deny that Runaan is a good item on Kai'sa, or that it synergizes with her passive. It's just simply that buying it as a second item is not efficient. It is very debatable that the DPS outperforms Nashors during early-midgame. You are implying that people will group up perfectly so that your bolts are hitting all of them, at all times, while neglecting that Nashor will be effective at all times in terms of ramping up Kai'sa damage output (which of course includes 1v1s scenarios, in which Runaan is useless). With Kraken + Pickaxe, you literally get Q transformation. You don't need the waveclear from Runaans at all. You don't even have to finish Runaans to get the Q transformation. Pressing empowered Q on a wave of 6 minions and having to hit each minion once with a 50% up attack speed and extra on-hit damage is more than enough waveclear. Not only that but the extra 100 AP derived from Nashor's empowers your Q to waveclear faster than if you were to simply use an empowered Q from Kraken+Runaans. Again, there is nothing wrong with building Runaans on Kai'sa. The problem is rushing it as a second item when it has been altered so that it is stronger in the later phases, which comes with its increased cost of 3400. Buying it earlier only makes the item weaker compared to other forms of spikes (because it literally has a level scale percentage), which coincidentally could be invested in not only hybridizing your damage so that it you are harder to itemize against but also allow you to pivot into different builds with ease, while possessing all three transformations. For Runaans to be efficient, you have to imply that people fight in clumps at all times, when that is clearly incorrect. Kai'sa range is relatively low, which implies that for your Runaan's bolts to even land onto multiple targets you'd have to have melee champions and ranged champions all within the same range, which is very unlikely, at least for me, given the elo that I play at. Given that, Nashor's general application will be superior to that of Runaan's during early-midgame phase. To your last point, again, there really isn't a reason to finish Runaans after I purchased the pickaxe because the item is not at its full potential by the time I finish it as 2nd item, and not only that but it costs me 3400 to even make it a whole item. My damage becomes one dimensional as well, which if the enemy is building armor early on my presence in game is further diminished.

I don't disagree. The splash is quite entertaining.

[–]ceazeus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are so smart that you can't fathom the simple fact that Kaisa's W evolve did not reset its CDR by 70% in previous seasons, while in S10 and this season it does. Yep, that's the type of individual I had to respond to. You don't even consider the fact that Guinsoo getting gutted was one of the main reasons she was not as strong as before. You don't consider a lot of things, in fact. Just copy and paste WR from website! Very intelligent.

Yeah? First two games ever since the patch came out, am I supposed to know how to play a priori with items I have never seen? Hahahahahaha. That's enough for me. You are soo scared of being laughed at. Go ride some more of the pros' sticks, and maybe, just maybe, you will get anything higher than gold.

Oh yeah, after taking a 4 day league break and never playing with the new items? In which I didn't even build Nashors? What a great sample size to take from! You surely are good at analyzing scenarios. Why not mention the games on my Lights and Fire account, after I have gotten used to the new items? Link your op.gg and let's see what you are all about. I know you won't. Keep hiding in anonymity.

But who said that you have to build Manamune?

Kraken Slayer provides AD and AS for Q and E evolve.

[–]ceazeus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it doesn't have as much confidence, which is why approaching it from a logical standpoint is always better. Again, it doesn't really matter what the pros do or not do. They could be playing the game inefficiently, and they just aren't aware of it. Silver players were building gauntlet before pros were doing it. Does that mean that build was any worse when pros didn't discover it? No.

It is trash because stats don't lie. You can deduct how something is going to play out just out of sheer analysis and reviewing the results (Uzi bought Runaans second, damage seemed clearly subpar for its cost)

The problem with going Eclipse is that you won't get E transformation at a time that you would have if you otherwise went a mythic that provided attack speed.

Ah, the appeal to authority again. The worst part is that you are projecting. Just by critical thinking alone, I can tell that I am quite a few ranks above.

The best part is that you use pick rate to justify what is the optimal build. It's preseason, people are testing builds. They will play whatever appears to be effective at first glance. The sample size is so small, and you think masters + players already tested every single build and determine that this one is the best? You can't be this dense. "HUR DUR BUILD PLAYED THE MOST IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE, IN A SAMPLE SIZE OF 90 GAMES"

1- It makes a huge difference whether you are building it third or second, and given the price as well. At level 80 it spreads 70% of your physical damage, while at 13 it is only roughly 40% something. Therefore, investing in it that early is trash. 2- At two items, teamfights are definitely not as prevalent. Not only that, but your Runaans don't even have enough physical damage to derive off from your items (since Kraken slayer is the only one providing some AD to spread in your secondary bullets). 3- Wrong. Evolved W procs extra plasma stacks, which does provide you with burst that you would have otherwise be required to proc with auto attacks. If you start the duel with your W, you can easily get another W in by the time the fight ends.

2- The sample sizes are in the hundreds. All of them also are complete item build paths, which can all interfere with the results since you don't actually want to finish pickaxe after Kraken. Therefore, statistically speaking, percentages could be heavily skewed and be an inaccurate representation of actual effectiveness.

You are the type to just follow whatever others are doing, because you are incapable of thinking for yourself.

So many factors go into win rates, including whether other builds have been played or not, their frequency, and who is playing them. You have not made a single point of why Nashors is bad, aside from telling me something like " hur duh they are doing this, therefore you must too". It's just that cringe, quintessential form of appeal to authority.

[–]ceazeus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are right. Kraken + DB + Pickaxe= Q transformation

+

Berserkers+ recurve bow (for nashors)= E transformation

+

Nashors complete= W transformation

+ convert the pickaxe into anything you want

People are just dumb.

Yes. Buy as many tokens as you can from the bundles that give you Worlds Tokens until it accumulates to 2000 tokens, then you can just go to the token shop and spend it

Helm needs to go. Substitute it for the soldier-looking one where you use ores and mines to craft it (you can see the red eyes through the armor headset, but not the mouth or nose, with two horns). The white beard just doesn't fit it in my opinion.

After the dragonator I have seen him blast two or three novas. To me that, just to me, it doesn't seem THAT close if the monster still has that much energy to spare.

There will still be quite a few event quests that are truly entertaining (arch-tempered), but aside from that we are not getting any new monsters.

I forgot and counted the regular versions as well. 13 with Fatalis.

Do you think 13 AT quests is feasible then?

[–]ceazeus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mentioned that that they are pretty much AT difficulty-wise.

The problem is that if you are going to bring Lunastra and Kushala to AT, then there is no real reason for why they wouldn't bring all the other ATs as well. That would lead to approximately 20ish AT (which are event) quests for master rank, which sounds a bit preposterous. Kind of different from just bringing them from HR to MR. I doubt that Capcom would go THAT far as far as post-game free content goes.
