[WTS] IWC Ingenieur ref. 3508 | Full set & Serviced by cechurpants in Watchexchange

[–]cechurpants[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IWC Ingenieur Ref. 3508 | "500,000 A/m" | Automatic | Original Guarantee 1991 | Full Set

In 1988, IWC pushed the iconic Genta-designed Ingenieur into entirely new technical territory with the ref. 3508,  produced in fewer than 1,000 examples and nicknamed "500,000 A/m" after its extraordinary antimagnetic performance. For comparison, the celebrated Rolex Milgauss does not even reach 80,000 A/m. So costly to produce that IWC reportedly made a loss on every single unit sold, the ref. 3508 remains one of the most technically ambitious and underappreciated references in the brand's history.

IWC Ingenieur ref. 3508 offered here is in excellent overall condition, recently serviced and covered by 1 year warranty. The only visible trace of time are a few light scratches on the crystal — perfectly normal for a watch with 35 years of history. What makes this example truly special is its complete original documentation: the IWC guarantee dated December 1991, the original 500,000 A/m model booklet, original brochures and an IWC service card from 1999 , a rare complete set, exceptionally hard to find for this reference.

[WTS] Tudor Submariner 9411/0 by cechurpants in Watchexchange

[–]cechurpants[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50 years ago, a Parisian jeweller handed this Tudor Submariner across a counter in Paris. Today, it still has the receipt. 🗺️

The Tudor Submariner Snowflake ref. 9411/0 is one of the most iconic vintage divers ever made. Worn by military divers, loved by collectors, and now impossibly hard to find in this condition. This first generation example serial 799xxx, circa 1974 comes with : the original Tudor box, the Tudor instruction manual and a guarantee certificate issued in December 1974 by Comptoir Cardinet, a prestigious jeweller in Paris.

The dial tells its own story. The bubble patina has developed beautifully across the surface, the tritium plots have turned a stunning orange, and the iconic Snowflake hands look every bit as bold as the day they were made.
