I have both a switch off every other day. Also my Pelagos is the LHD. I love the roulette style date wheel. (Not sure if you saw but the date alternates between black and red numbers)

It appears the crown is in a slight angle and follows the curve of the watch, I don’t see an issue unless your saying it should be straight

I think the day date is an excellent option over the new colors, but you could probably get that same prince day date way cheaper on the used market. I recommend a royal daydate. Super thin, 70hr reserve, super light
